The Secret to Keeping Team Members Happy

Addressing job satisfaction and wellbeing for all generations

Rather than having the rotating door of team members, why not focus on keeping the stellar ones you already have! The newer generation of employees are creating a change in the working environment and management must step up. If a “good culture” is promised, then it must be delivered, otherwise people will leave.  Creating an atmosphere which promotes wellbeing and job satisfaction is the answer.

Disclaimer: it may be easier said than done!

Again, all are FREE. If you can’t attend the live session, a taped version will be available soon after each webinar to review on your own time.

Sign up and receive the previous webinars in taped format

You Never get a Second Chance at First Impressions!

Onboarding is the key in higher team retention; focusing on the ensuing generations

Onboarding, when done appropriately, takes TIME and is WORTH IT!

Time is a luxury many veterinary hospitals don’t think they have when the hiring door is constantly revolving. However, the lack of appropriate onboarding may be the reason managers are constantly looking for team members. There are statistics showing how many people leave within six months, and this can be correlated to the onboarding process.

After all, you never get a second chance at first impressions!

Onboarding should also be tailored to the unique individual. This can be a challenge as there are now five generations of workers. This webinar will focus on the millennial generation. Why? Because this group will make up roughly 50% of the U.S. workforce within the next two years.

However, no matter your age or position within the clinic, this webinar will help you see why the first impression should be the best one.

Buck Naked Vulnerability

It's better than OK to be imperfect; Let's talk trust and vulnerability

Veterinarians and team members may be hung up on the unrealistic pretense of having to be perfect (perfect family, perfect job, perfect life, etc.). Every day, within the walls of the veterinary hospital, there are calculations, conversations and projects that must be completed with a high standard of excellence.

Yet every day there are opportunities for mishaps. The fear of failure and of being less than perfect must not paralyze and overshadow a team. Trust and vulnerability may provide the needed safety net. “I need help” and “I apologize” may be statements in vulnerability building trust, improving the dynamics of the team.
